I'm Dr. Mario McCoy, the creative director and head designer of, NCMPRBL. I don't usually smile much, but i'm glad the energy has you with us. I grew a love for designing and curating our limited release catalog from a myriad of places; sketching, family and above all things, feeling full from aligning with your identity to look incomparable. Whether it's a life-advancing occasion or every day that you're a walking billboard for NCMPRBL, i'm indebted and invested in ensuring you advance with intention. 

I am a northside Milwaukee, Wisconsin native and founded NCMPRBL and experienced firsthand how diverse, aspirational buyers were underserved by luxury brands. At the same time, fast fashion created accessibility at the expense of quality and community impact. I launched NCMPRBL to bridge this gap: limited-release, eco-conscious eyewear and watches that sit at the intersection of culture and confidence. At a young age my style was heavily influenced by my mother always telling me it's man-law to never leave the house without a watch on. Growing up with diagnosed with Autism, I often struggled with effective communication, internal confidence and "fitting in" sorta speak. A heavy sneaker aficionado, I incorporated the limited release, emotional tug that comes with said category and transformed that with wanting to do my part for the planet, and as a result, creating a premium sustainable minimalist company as a vessel from accessories being statements with my look. It’s my experience with fashion, hip-hop, minimalist style and footwear that led me to create my own line.

I taught myself the art of design in minimalism, and the marketing business of fashion before being formally educated. In 2019 we launched our first complete collection of NCMPRBL watches. Initially it was my focus to offer advanced, affordable, style. Advance to today we carry the spirit of emotional connection not towards products, but infusing culture and confidence through understated quality accessories. NCMPRBL looks in our online studio are mostly purposely targeted for unisex sizes due to the vision of unifying silent luxury and sustainability engineered to inspire you to advance with intention.

Aside from designing, I am passionate about investing our core values into tomorrow's leaders, which we're able to do through our social initiatives and partnerships. In 2020 we launched the NCMPRBL Scholarship Fund which celebrates underrepresented youth from underserved areas. Holding an doctorate of education myself, a master's degree and two undergraduate degrees after initially dropping out of college, I've always had a great appreciation for education. Being coined "dropout turned doctor", I've encountered numerous advisors, teachers, professors and former colleagues whom have left a lasting impact on my story of growth. With the NCMPRBL scholarship fund, a percentage of each purchase is donated to assist tomorrow's leaders to become young entrepreneurs and/or advance their education beyond high school. Priority is placed on nominees from underserved areas and those selected as winners receive funding towards their academic endeavors or business startup funding. Honorees are gifted with NCMPRBL, a small token of our appreciation as I am a product of the work that the village of education does.
